Hatch supplies engineering, project and construction management services, process and business consulting and operational services to the mining, metallurgical, energy and infrastructure industries. Koniambo is one of the world’s largest and highest-grade undeveloped nickel and laterite deposits. The engineering is carried out by Hatch and Technip Joint Venture.
• I am in charge of recruiting for the construction of the industrial and mining site of Koniambo:
- Design and implement in Access the management system of recruitments and applications, create the various recruitment activity reports provided to Hatch and Technip.
- Analyze the recruitment needs in touch with the various department and area managers, and ensuring compliance with the staffing plan.
- Help with the job descriptions drafting, write the job ads and advertise the new vacancies locally and internationally.
- Review the applications with managers and supervisors, organize and conduct the interviews locally and internationally.
- Assist in the selection of staff, administer the reference checks and write the various reports for managers, parent companies and employment administration.
- Request and follow-up the job offer in touch with parent companies and services in charge of visa, work permit and mobility process.
• Fields concerned: engineering in construction and commissioning, maintenance, health and safety, project controls, material management, procurement, purchases, site administration, etc.
• Recruited profiles: administrative staff, purchasers, contract administrators, technicians, engineers, coordinators, supervisors and superintendents in civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation fields, etc.
2006 - 2009Vale Nouvelle-Calédonie is a world-class mining project and a key part of Vale's growth strategy. It is located on the South Pacific island of New Caledonia, an overseas territorial community of France. Nouvelle-Calédonie is among the best undeveloped laterite orebodies in the world, with excellent average grades, 55 million tons of estimated measured and indicated mineral reserves, and a very large resource base.
• I am in charge of recruiting for the construction of the industrial and mining site of Goro:
- Analyze the recruitment needs in touch with the various department managers, advise on the strategy to be adopted, develop and organize the action plan.
- Write the new vacancies advertisements, post it at a local and international level, and if necessary to recruitment agencies and institutional partners.
- Record and analyze applications, assist with technical and psychological testing (PAPI, MRS), organize and conduct interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
- Write the recruitment reports, assist in the salary estimation and negotiation, follow up from the job offer to the mobilization and integration.
- Support management of manpower and careers, assist in administrative coordination in the field of human resources.
