Position: Responsible of the cost reduction activity team on Medium Wheel Loaders to optimize the competitiveness of these products while achieving the quality and rentability target of the company and managing 2 engineers :
- Realised studies and financial analysis (in-line costing, benchmark, purchasing strategy) of the different machines’ sub-assemblies (mechanics, hydraulics, electrical, etc.) & brainstorming to generate cost reduction ideas (resourcing, supplier negotiation, new design and material optimisation proposition),
- Project management, database improvement (Access) and supervision of 2 engineers
2007 - 2008Company description: Honda is the 5th largest automobile manufacturer in the world as well as the largest engine-maker in the world, producing more than 14 million internal combustion engines each year.
Position: Responsible of Air conditioning system parts (HVAC unit, compressor, condenser, hose & pipe) / Alternator / Starter Motor / Fuel pump module and engine related sensors for Civic and CRV (turnover of 46M£):
- Supplier prospection to find the best technical & economical solutions (Stop & start system, EU legislation for the air con gaz, etc.),
- Achieved annual cost reduction with suppliers and negotiated legal contracts,
- Conducted market surveys, developped new suppliers, established the component parts sourcing strategy for new models in relation with Honda purchasing offices in US, Japan, Turkey and the engineering staff in Japan and secured nomination consensus with all relevant parties and meet the new model cost targets,
- General Supplier management control and communication window function for Quality and Delivery teams on business issues, management of the team on Civic projects

Position: Mass production and sourcing buyer in RENAULT Technocentre for Lighting, Wiping, Washing systems & Horns for Kangoo, Twingo, Megane, Clio, Espace, Vel Satis and Laguna (turnover going from 53 to 66 M€ according to the business responsability changes):
- Cost reduction (overachievement of 2006 target with a profit of 4,5M€) through commercial negotiations, technical and logistic optimizations,
- Management of production transfer (including LCC), follow up of service rates (>90%), project planning and suppliers’ production capacity to avoid logistic crisis,
- Quality improvement: quality audits and implementation of quality tools in supplier’s plant, follow up of action plan and application of the Renault Nissan quality method ANPQP to achieve the ambitious target of 54 PPM over 6 rolling months,
- Sourcing of lighting components & redefining of the rain & light sensor suppliers list

- Product standardisation (profit of 250 K€): reduction of part numbers (from 70 to 8) and improvement of the impact resistance, cost reduction ideas coordination with Valeo entities worldwide
